Logo design and identity
This is a work for the new thai restaurant opened in Arad couple of months ago.
The main insipration was the specific tastes of the cuisine which combines 5 tastes-sweet, sour, salty, bitter & hot.This is revealed in the 5 leafs of the icon in the logo.This has a specific fire look which indicates again the charasteristics if the cuisine , like open fire , spicy -hot food , curry ,fire as an element of life,and a wide use of the flame element in thai art.I'n the same time it is the face of a thai flaming dragon.The fonts used are thai looking ones where i have worked on spacing and dimensions for a blanced look.After some processes of ideation and presentation to the owner of the restaurant ,we have chosen the logo below.Also later a second version was introduced on the take out menus and in the back of the one sheet menu.The final colours agreed were orange and grey for a clean profesional look an for a good contrast on any background.

We also printed out the logo on staff suites , after these mockups.
I have also conceived a layout proposal of the main menu and take out menu.
The colours chosen for these are vivid and again where inspired from the five tastes of the cuisine as well from the actual color of the specific dishes : green (fresh rolls),red (chili,red curry), orange(yellow curry), purple(from the eggplants for example),beige(coconut soup) and so on.Although it has a high level of visual saturation in this way i've tried to combine the visual and the taste sences.In conceiving the flyer I used a photo from the restaurant with a thai soldier and a small peack of the corner of the table as i was requested by the owner.This brings a fresh apealing look of the bistro.Some of thai motifs where used in the front and back of the flyer.The purple is the specific coulour of this restaurant,being used for table cloths and a main colour theme chosen by the owners.For the main menu the layout was suposed to be conceived on an A3 format single sheet on both sides.Here the colours were reduced for a more cleaner look.
