Taste is the brainchild of Ted Kilgore, one of the country's top mixologists, and James Beard Award nominee Gerard Craft. It is a gorgeous, cozy little bar and restaurant that hearkens back to the days before Prohibition and wouldn't be out of place in Brooklyn's cocktail scene.
They came to us to create the identity, menu design and website. Ted wanted something a little steampunk and a little old school - something that stood out from other local restaurants. I created custom illustrations of culinary "machines" and food and bar-themed headers for the menu and website.
