Take Me Home is a guerrilla campaign for the Humane Society of Greater Savannah(local). The campaign begins with the local distribution of small dog and local distribution of small dog and cat figurines in high traffic areas throughout Savannah. Tags on each of the figurines instruct the observer to “Take Me Home” and direct them to the Take Me Home Facebook event. This visit supplies them not only with information about the humane society but also allows the finders to post about their discovery and experiences with photographs and messages. The campaign then extends to advertisements to be featured in local newspaper publications including the Savannah Morning News and the Connect Savannah, which create awareness for the figurines as well as the social media profile. A poster campaign set for distribution to local businesses expands the viewership reach and social impact of the project. Our focus is to inform and educate the people of Savannah and encourage them to adopt pets as well as engaging positively with their community by volunteering their time and making donations to ensure the future compassionate protection of the area’s homeless pets.
