Textile made shoes - Sustainable/animal welfare shoe design project for university.
The concept was self created as seen in the story Tabibito (http://www.behance.net/gallery/Tabibito/3634713) , and used for textile, heel and shoe design.
Shoes have wooden heels and no leather or any other animal byproducts used in regular shoemaking. Instead, textiles with Smart Barrier finish were used both for the lining and insole as well as all external parts. The final textile design, was printed on to it through sublimation print.
