Resort not only serves the basic requirements of leisure and relaxation in a luxury manner, but also has the ability to inherit and promote local cultural heritage to visitors, and the potentiality to become a cultural ambassador. As to many visitors, their stopover place will reflect the most significant aspects of the local and the country.

Phu Quoc is a recently developed island, one of a few remaining authentic natural areas in Vietnam. Therefore, the island's cultural beauty doesn't come from its architectural landmarks but rather originates from the most ordinary and humble aspects of local life. Its cutural heritage didn't come to existence out of nowhere. It was shaped by and connected to the history of this land and the lives of many generations of Phu Quoc's fishermen.

And that is the original inspiration of this design idea. The design hereby represents the unique aspects of traditional Vietnamese fishery in conjunction with outdoor architectural elements.

On this assignment, I has conveyed my own genuine feelings and love for Phu Quoc beaches' beauty and Vietnam's in general. Also, to look forward to share the aspiration to those who may desire a stopover place after days of wandering.
