TRON: Legacy Roller Coaster
Entrance Design
For my senior project, I decided to design a roller coaster for Disneyland based on the film TRON: Legacy. Using design elements and themes from the film, I generated 3 different entrance designs using 3ds Max.

Disneyland Park’s mission is to create a home for well-loved characters of Disney films and to create a place “Where Dreams Come True.” For all ages, Disneyland Park is a place to build memories by immersing yourself into a world of magic, tales, and in this case, a Virtual Reality.

My mission is to create a prospective new roller coaster attraction for Disneyland Park, located in Anaheim, CA. Visitors of Disneyland California Adventure were very taken with the creation of  "ElecTRONica," a dance party themed from the 2011 film TRON:Legacy. My goal was to design a roller coasted attraction that further immerses visitors at Disneyland into the world of TRON: Legacy that they witnessed in theaters.

Clu’s tower is the end of the line for programs. A dark oppressed place of strict, regulated functions. Any program out of line must face deletion, or is forced into a fight for survival on the Game Grid.
Tron City, the heart of the Grid and a major hotspot in TRON: Legacy is a place where programs can find anything they want: a party, company, relaxation, or in this case, entertainment in the form of a LightCycle match.
The Grid was once a game simulation that evolved into a virtual universe that is virtually boundless and technically superior. The straight geometry of the structures portray the budding new Digital Frontier called “The Grid.”
