  • Degree Thesis Project TRAKROK -  The TrakRok concept is an all-terrain trike vehicle utilising a completely new alternate design solution  for all season off-road mobility. The TrakRok vehicle falls under a trike category unlike the conventional quad, the trike setup enables to have two wheels in the front direct driven individually by electric motors. The third propulsion derivative, is a direct driven independent track system which over shadows snowmobile applications as an all season application, it uses high powered electric motors to propel the segmented rubber track plates, enabiling maximum traction in mud and snow with torque power unlike the quad wheel counterpart. The entire system is powered by sustainable renewable energy using hydrogen fuel cell technology. The fuel cells are situated in the center belly of the vehicle lowering the center of gravity. The fuel cell cluster is liquid cooled by two large radiator intakes in the front of the vehicle, aside from menacing aesthetics the intakes provide adequate cooling and in casing protection for the fuel cells from harsh environment. 
    The structural chassis is the core integrity of the vehicle,composed of an exoskeleton hard anodized aluminum, the design mimics a shelllike rib cage with hollowed out pattern section compose alight weight exoskeleton assembly construction. Utilizing a wheeled locomotion swing arm design, delivers TrakRok it's performance advantage in  environments of rough terrain, and harsh seasonal conditions. The linked motorized track unit in the back, is the central driving force, enabling TrakRok to tackle  terrain of restricted scale where ordinary competition would fail. Steep inclination and rocky mud terrain crevasse , arean ideal environment where the TrakRok roams.
