Eppla Happy Doll
Born: Jan. 1, 2011, Berkshite, MA, USA
Origin: Made with love from 99% recycled materials
I was deep in my boots of desperation, scratching my imagination and desperately trying to visualize the illustrations in my book Eppla Otherwise Known As The Girl With The BlueBlack Hair. The obvious kept grinning in my face. I needed the finger-push of trusted friend to reach the proper colour of my dream. Friends, friends, hide and seek, seek and hide, we shall need a happy ride. Two pairs of huge eyes were staring at me. A tiny body with a big head and a psychedelic hair. No traces of mouth or nose. My new friend – the happy doll Iris. Born on January 1, 2011 from the leftovers of forgotten dreams, stitched with thousands threads of love and gifted with the three crystals of giving, having and receiving. The goddess of rainbow. That was the first of my happy dolls that I started making as best friends for each and all of you, my dear sunshines. Take them places where you will never dare go alone. Hold them when the wintry thoughts invade your dreams. Trust them when the wheel of fortune spins the other way. Handmade from beloved things. Crowned with love and charmed with luck. The happy dolls of Eppla Lemonada. They are all unique. With name and story as bright as life. In case you want to tell me story or have a fabric you want that special doll to be made of, drop me a line. I will recycle love with love and make a happy doll for every special friend.
