TORI Color - examines painting techniques from Rococo through contemporary art; scripting/animating in Maya Dynamics, Paint, Fluids, Expressions, and Processing; creating a palette of rheological / biorheological materials; and simulating material effects with the six Stäubli robots at SCI-ARC's Robotics Lab. Our team focused our techniques on color blending through a series of torus drawings using copic markers. The torus is modeled three dimensionally, a python script was developed to create a series of paths for the robotic arm to follow, with each color the robotic arm follows the set path in a three dimensional rotation.
