Tipoberba 2012. is the second Cyrillic typeface design workshop,
organized by Tipometar and funded by the Ministry of Culture of Serbia.
The workshop lasted for ten days and was held in the village Tršić,
the birthplace of Serbian linguist/language reformer, Vuk Stefanović Karadžić.
The goal of this year's workshop was the creation of original Cyrillic typefaces,
and the beginning of reconstruction of Vuk's manuscripts.
Participants improved their theoretical knowledge about the basics of advanced
programming and working with multi-master fonts through professional lectures.
Visiting professors at the workshop were Jana Oršolić and Borut Vild. Their lectures
were inspiring exchange of experience and knowledge about typography.
The workshop consists of eight participants, who are former students of the
Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade.
