Zaparo is an endangered language in Ecuador. There's only one person who speaks it and we want to keep the dialect alive.
We gather on the last zaparo speaking person with an ecuadorian music icon and translated one of his hits, "Yo Nací Aquí", a song about national pride and loving your country.
The song did great on media and the language became a trend. The Ministy of Heritage achieved keeping this ancestral language alive.
