I curated TEDxBerkeley 2012: Inspiring Innovation, which was held on February 4th, 2012 at Zellerbach Hall on the UC Berkeley Campus. Working with a core team of 8 individuals and over 115 volunteers, I organized the event over the course of a year.
The event graphics consisted of 4 primary deliverables: an app, programs, flyers, and namebadges. The TEDxBerkeley app was created in partnership with AppBaker and Yeshua Adonai, while the program design was led by Brittany Cheng with small revisions made by me. I designed the flyers and namebadges.
TED is an annual event where some of the world’s leading thinkers and doers are invited to share what they are most passionate about. “TED” stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design – three broad subject areas that are, collectively, shaping our future. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
