TASTE4KNOWLEDGE IDENTITY

Taste4knowledge provides a besoke service recruiting and supplying private cooks and private tutors to housholds in and around London. I was given the task of creating their identity and website. I wanted to create a memorable unique and original logomark that captures the company's unique services and personality.

The logomark is a fusion between a fountain pen and a whisk, the pen has always sybolised knowledge (this represents the tutoring side of the business) My reasoning for choosing a whisk out off all the potential kitchen untensils was because it is the utitentsel that captures the very essence of cooking and no where near as aggressive looking as knife. You instantly associate it with home cooking/baking.  
 
The website was built on a very low budget and again needed to look and feel unique whilst relaying all the neccessary information of the various sides of the company.  It took a lot time  to find the right imagery, I didn't want to use obvious imagery that you would usually asscoiate with teaching and schooling. I focused on the growth and development that one prospers from when learning. Books, trees and apples are symbols of, and the key to knowledge.
