  • TAASC
(The Adaptive Adventure Sports Coalition) Volunteer Work
  • I recently joined an organization called TAASC as their graphic designer and marketer to gain some more experience and exposure. This is a non-profit organization that makes it possible for disabled people to play sports. I'm currently working on redesigning all their materials to achieve the goal of making them look more unified, organized, and professional, while maintaining an interesting style that helps convey the energy and movement of the organization.
  • P3 Flyer: This flyer was one of my first projects - mainly sent out in emails to all of TAASC's members
  • They liked the logo I made so much that it was reproduced on a water bottle & t-shirt given out at the event.
  • TAASC Brochure: This is still a work in progress. (I'm waiting for them to get their mission statement & other info updated.) I'm working out a general brochure design that's more timeless, better fits their identity & feels more organized & professional. This will eventually be mass-printed & given out to anyone interested in becoming a member. Their older brochures are outdated, scrapbooky, & ugly, with one design having a harsh yellow background.
  • I created a simple informative flyer about TAASC membership: December 5, 2012
  • I DID NOT MAKE THIS LOGO: I'm just showing the before & after of a winter sports themed logo. This is the BEFORE. I was given this & told to 'update' it. They were right that it needed an update, but they wanted me to keep the images of the skiers & use the current title.
  • Updated 12/30/12: This is the AFTER: The requirement was to use the skiers, so I retraced them with a brush tool to give them more personality than the cheap clip art computerized look of before, & to go with my hand drawn type that makes more sense. The old title seemed like too much of a sloppy Arabic grafitti-like type, which wouldn't help to visualize the message of the organization. I added some lines of movement to match the look of the TAASC logo.
  • Final general brochure design for TAASC: finished around January 2012, a more flowing design with a litle less text. More information about the organization can be accessed on their website through the QR code.
  • TAASC Winter Sports Challenge Flyer: I updated their winter sports logo & made a fun flyer advertisement with snowflakes to go with it. Went to print January 10th, 2013
