Swiss Style
The grid system
Swiss Style is a research about the Swiss Graphic Design in the 50' years of the XX century, after the Second World War. The project, done in collaboration with Busico Valeria, Manna Ilaria, Senneca Antonia and Sento Tina, aims to show how strong was the influence of the pioneers of this style - Hans Neuburg, Joseph Muller Brockmann, Herbert Matter, Armin Hofmann - on the following Swiss graphic production. In this way, Swiss Style focuses on the graphic Nord-European rigor characterized by geometry, symmetry, modularity, in order to explore the invisible structure which controls the lines' equilibrium of the poster studied.
