Survive. Adapt. Rebuild.
Nuclear disaster readiness kit
A graded unit project where the brief was to design a 'survival kit' of any description, provided its volume was smaller than that of a VHS. Where most decided to design novelty survival kits such as festival or holiday kits, I decided to go for a more literal approach and apply it to a specific scenario - Nuclear fallout.

So after a fairly in depth research stage, I set out to create a compact survival kit for a nuclear disaster. One that will provide equipment and information to give someone an increased chance of thriving in desolate conditions.
The kit is named 'Survive. Adapt. Rebuild' - Which reflects the three stages considered in the kit.

The kit includes:
-Metal tin (Used to cook, eat from, boil water, container)
-Immediate action survival booklet
-Wound dressing bandage
-Multi-tool
-LED torch
-Waterproof Matches
-Water purification Tablets
-Radiation detector paper
-Potassium Iodide pills
-Dried soil block
-Seeds
