Supremacy Of The Unconscious is a new project that consists of a box inside which represents one of the stories of the book Mucha Muerte of Max Aub.
Argument: The plane left at six forty-five. I said him that he woke up me at five. I woke up at seven. But the worst is that he said he called me. "I called you, Mr. I called you." And lies drive me crazy.
    The box:
    Through the peephole:
Inside the box, it represents the end of the story: “I did bounce his head against the wall until people took him off me of my hands.” I don’t write this final phrase outside the box because this way viewers are intrigued and look through the peephole right after reading the story.
The stories of this book have an irony-laden pessimism, and described funnily and cruelly, with few words, as the narrator in each story manages to murder someone or suicide. These stories are really, according to Max, confessions of murderers and suicide Mexican, French and Spanish.
  • Creative process of the project and details of the interior of the box:
The box has a peephole through which we look to get inside. The items inside are painted with ink and watercolor. The blood is painted with acrylic. These items are placed in different layers at different distances each, to give depth. The box’s dimensions are 30x30x30 centimeters.
    Thanks for watching.
