The stupa  concept is an agricultural building experiment, a possible vision for the future. The idea is to implement such structures in countries where rain is sparse, or islands with areas too small to cultivate crops.

The stupa concept design was inspired by buddhist stupas and step cultivation. The structure consists of multiple floors stacked above one another to produce arable land in a constrained space. As the walls are transparent, the cultivated area on each floor is made more than the vertically opposed area, resulting in arable area almost 3 times the floor area. If extra energy is used to power lights at night, the arable area could increase to almost 5 times, maybe more, and harvest time could be halved, encouraging double the number of harvests per year.

Using drip irrigation and gravity, the stupa aims to reduce overall power consumption and weather dependancy. the use of people over machinery also reduces pollution and increases employment.

The stupa contains several roles in agriculture: sowing+growing, harvesting, sorting, and storage. all procedures are monitored and managed by the 2-storey in-stupa management building. even silos, sorting machines and a loading bay where vehicles take the grains to processing unit buildings.
