Student Gold Pack 2013

Above is the flat silk screen design that would be featured on the Bordeaux shaped bottle. The design was hand drawn, then taken into illustrator and pen tooled over. The name 'Veiled Vines' represents a secret garden, showing that this brand is exclusive and customers are made to feel important.
The technical drawings which were made up to show how the box will open and fit together.
The Dieline shows a cheaper version of packaging the product, in a carboard box rather then a bamboo lasercut box.
The renedered bottles, which were created in photoshop using the 3D tool. The red bottle is Cabernet Sauvignon and the green bottle is Merlot. I chose to do an organic wine because there is a market for it. The bottle would sell well in both South Africa and Overseas.
The flat panels which make up the box. Each panel had to be a different size to be able to fit together. The panels would have grooves in so that the lid can slide in and out and fit perfectly without sticking out. The panels would be made out of bamboo as it is more eco friendly then using plywood. Bamboo grows a lot quicker. The design will be laser cut into the bamboo to give the box a classy sofisticated feel.
A render of the finished box with the lid on. The render was created in Archicad and then taken into photoshop where the design was applied.
The rendered box with the lid sliding off.
Birds Eye view of the box with the lid off, Inside the box is corrigated cardboard which is cut so that the bottle can sit securley within.
Above are pictures taken of the final made up box and bottle.
