The Street Art scene in Buenos Aires represents a colorful commentary on society and art and is embraced locally as a valuable part of the urban landscape. It spans across neighborhoods rich and poor and offers up an innovative and often collaborative spin on how we express ourselves in public space. In recent years it has been common for businesses to commission a piece of graffiti as a form of advertising and annual festivals inviting international artists are becoming more and more common.
