I was recently reunited with my favorite childhood board game, an obscure but beloved little gem called Fireball Island.
Its intricate three-dimensional terrain, explored by tiny adventurers in the shadow of a mighty fire-breathing idol, made it a thing of wonder to any young boy fortunate enough to have encountered it.

Upon seeing 's wonderfully-crafted game board after all these years, I couldn't help digging out
the macro lens and attempting to make the game world feel as vast and epic as it did to my seven year old mind.
