I'm a huge fan of horror writer Stephen King and has probably read most of what he's written. His novels and short stories have been published in so many formats and illustrated by so many artists, that I thought it would be fun to try and make one strict style for some of his most famous works.
I've used only three colors: black for the type, orange for the background and a blood red for the element that I want to emphasize. Being a horror writer, death is an important part of all his novels - so the skull is a key element - in most cases portraying the killer and/or protagonist.
These are all "sketches" - I just wanted to put down as many ideas as possible without getting lost in the details. Enjoy!
