Al Aan is a pan-Arab infotainment satellite television station based in Dubai and broadcasting to audiences throughout the Middle East.
Since launching in 2005, it has positioned itself as a channel dedicated to women, delivering practical, inspirational and informative content across a broad range of genres.
In response to the evolving relationship between contemporary audiences and television broadcasters, Al Aan engaged us to create their new brand identity.
Al Aan creates all of its own content, so we saw an opportunity for it to transcend being simply a channel brand and position it as a full-fledged media brand that ably caters to a broad range of viewing tastes.
We developed a unifying brand promise, emphasizing Al Aan’s new positioning as a media brand that delivers the most talked-about content and is also satisfying the audience’s desire for engagement on a deeper level:
