Star Pack: Food to Go

This is the package that I designed for the UK packaging competition Starpack which went on to receive three separate awards, including Student Starpack Champion.
The brief was to design a carton that would be sold in a high street coffee shop. The carton was to contain a lunch time meal which was made up of three separate items.
My design was based around a simple shallow carton with a wrap around band in the centre. The carton opens out from the center revealing the food pre-wrapped in paper packets. All the art work used on the carton is original and created by myself.

I went on to win a gold award, the sponsor award and the student champion award in May 2010.
*Update* This project won first place in the worldstar copmetiton in October 2010.
