  • STAR WARS 1977, the video game
Star Wars was one of my favorite movies as a young boy. I remember the immense impact it had on me and how this fantastic movie literately changed my childhood vision of the world around me. I have a great love for space and all things astronomical now and put forth great effort to teach myself and my children about the planet upon which we live and the solar system in which we dwell. I remind them how vast the universe is and of the many mysteries that are hidden away among the billions of planets and stars that reside within. As a tribute to Star Wars and the many Star Wars Fans ( and the creative vision of George Lucas ), I decided to create my own Star Wars video game. Based on the old 1945 airplane shooter style of video games i wanted to create a fast paced arcade style game reminiscent of those early days of my youth. I am pleased with the results. Star Wars 1977 is truly too much fun. Coupled with Star wars props, space and planet landscapes, and a pre-episode IV story line....Star Wars 1977 holds true to the love I have for the franchise. Even though I am truly dedicated to the completion of Wizard World and it is our number one priority I have decided to release this game first. It is 24 levels of simple and fun game play ( complete with power-ups and boss battles ) and is complete. It only lacks some original artwork ( for back drops) that I am currently working on. so in a few weeks I should complete the artwork...and in a few months ( after extensive third party game testing ) I should release the full game, FREE, to who ever wants to play. This is truly a labor of love for me. I hope you enjoy. I will add additional screen shots to this project soon. Thanks for the Support.

  • Yes, there are Cheat Codes! What are they?? Well, we are not going to tell yet....Cheats will be relesed on our various sites after the game is released! But we will say that they have to do with Power-Ups, Levels, Secret ships, and other stuff!
  • Okay, we will give you one cheat code...for now!
  • This is a one or two player game! Two players will play simultaneously on the same screen. Game play will be both co-op and competitive.
  • Choose the X-wing fighter to play with! The X-wing is moderate in speed and maneuverability. Its rate of fire is fair but it carries a low missle payload. Decent armor carries this ship far.
  • Choose the Y-wing Bomber to play with! The B-wing is slow in speed and maneuverability. Its rate of fire is poor but it carries a high missle payload and can take a beating due to its heavy armor.
  • Choose the A-wing fighter to play with! The A-wing is fast in speed and maneuverability. Its rate of fire is excellent and it carries a decent missle payload, unfortunately,  its weak armor leaves it vulnerable.
  • Choose the Millennium Falcon to play with! The Millennium Falcon is fast in speed and maneuverability. Its rate of fire is excellent and it carries a decent missle payload, the Millennium Falcon can shoot in a 360 degree circle and it boasts decent armor comparable  to the B-wing bomber.
  • Ship select screen featuring an X-Wing Fighter.
  • Level Start.
  • Basic X-Wing taking on enemy Tie-Fighter formation.
  • Even though the Tie-Fighter got off a shot...it was too late!
  • The Empire is in trouble!
  • Things get a little crazy as ships begin to explode!
  • Tie-Fighter debris flies by after a few good shots!
  • A severely damaged X-Wing.
  • Bruised and hurt...this X-wing barely makes an escape!
  • Slipping by the carnage!
  • The enemy has this X-Wing pegged!
  • Collision is imminent!
  • Ka-Blam!
  • Both ships break apart!
  • Space dog-fights are dangerous as both ships meet their doom!
  • this damaged X-wing is still putting up a fight!
  • Rockin the Empire!
  • Deflector shields are a big help!
  • X-wings have a fair rate of fire, are durable and equipped with Deflector shields, and boast decent speed and maneuverability. Their small payload for photons torpedoes and missiles is its only draw back.
  • Taking a few hits while dishing out a few!
  • Pain and Suffering for the Empire!
  • A near-miss as X-wing and Tie-Fighter nearly collide!
  • another X-wing destroyed!
  • More space debris!
  • Ship select screen featuring an A-Wing Fighter.
  • A-Wings are fast, highly maneuverable, have a high rate of fire, and boast a decent missile payload. Even though they maintain decent deflector shields their weak armor is a liability
  • more missile fire.
  • Devastating the enemy!
  • 3 on 1?? The A-Wing can easily out-maneuver the basic Tie-Fighter!
  • A damaged A-Wing is an A-Wing in serious trouble!
  • Fire Away!
  • A-wings can cause alot of damage when using their missile and laser fire!
  • speed and a high rate of fire make this ship a deadly enemy!
  • Devouring the enemy!
  • Its almost too easy!
  • Smack-Down!
  • The Tie-Fighters don't stand a chance!
  • Rockin and Rollin!
  • All in a days work!
  • Ship select screen featuring the Y-Wing Bomber. Slow, heavy, and a less than decent rate of fire...Y-Wings are the work horses of the Rebel Alliance. It may be slow and its laser cannon is no match for the quick Tie-Fighters, but the Y-Wing can take a beating and boasts a devastating payload made up of missiles and photon torpedoes. This ship is not to be underestimated!
  • One on one seem to be a tough fight for a Y-Wing but this Y-Wing has launched a Photon Torpedo!
  • 3 on 1?? That's just unfair!
  • Taking heavy fire....this Y-Wing has launched a devastating photon torpedo destroying multiple Tie-Fighters!
  • The results of the torpedo are quickly realized!
  • Double torpedoes double the fun!
  • The Y-wing is a tank! Deflector shields make it near impervious!
  • Heavy damage!
  • Still in the fight!
  • Keepin it real!
  • Never give up!
  • The Millennium Falcon is the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than 12 Par-Secs! It has definately seen its share of combat against Imperial forces. It is piloted by Captain Han Solo and his first mate, a Wookie, known as Chewbacca. The Millennium Falcon is fast in speed and maneuverability. Its rate of fire is more than decent and it carries an above average missle payload, the Millennium Falcon can shoot in a 360 degree circle and it boasts decent armor comparable  to the B-wing bomber.
  • This is an actual in game screen shot featuring the Millennium Falcon. This is during one player mode and is different than the above screen shots featuring the other ships. The above screen shots ( of the X-wing, A-wing, and Y-wing) are close-ups and emphasize the games graphics. They are intended to only give you a sense of the game play and a better view of the games over-all details.
  • There are multiple environments to play in...this nebula cloud is one such environment.
