A commision where I was challenged to illustrate the popular quote, "The teacher is always silent during the test." As it alludes to a bible verse I decided to continue that theme further by creating a classroom full of the seven deadly sins. To push it even further I chose to make the whole piece mimic the look of stained glass windows. Hope you enjoy!

I had to lay out the characters first and then lay a piece of tracing paper over the top. This was a new idea for me but I really liked they way it worked for me.

 

The second piece for this commission. This one is a lot less visual and it all about putting a twist on the ten commandments for a golf enthusiast. Also in the form of a stained glass window just like the sins above.
