Student Project at Sunshine Coast Tafe
OBJECTIVE
Create a line of packaging for a brand of gourmet sorbet featuring combinations of flavours.
SOLUTION
I created a fresh, colourful and quirky label and packaging design that stands out from competing ice cream and sorbet brands. Chosen colours convey the sorbet flavours and contribute to a fun and youthful vibe.
The sorbet is housed in transparent plastic screw-top containers which are recyclable and allow easy visibility of the colour and texture of the product. The containers also feature measurement indicators so they can be reused by the consumer. The label strip extending over the edge of the lid provides effective tamper evidence.
