Activision challenged us to design a compelling print ad campaign for Spiderman Shattered Dimensions
that communicated the four different worlds/modes you can play in the game, including Amazing,Noir, 2099 and Ultimate. We created the campaign around these four parallel worlds, matching the art style of each print ad to a mode. To build on the client’s reveal-strategy, we featured a series of silhouetted Spider-men throughout the campaign, unveiling them one at a time, with each new ad.
To differentiate from Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, we capitalized on Spider-man’s web pattern to create unique shapes and patterns against strong imagery with bold, simple messaging, creating a truly multi-dimensional campaign.
