This is the bi-fold brochure option (the other options were two trifold brochures - one for recruiting and one for donors) we gave to Special Olympics Lancaster. I was really into the idea of a bi-fold because it's economical for a non-profit and they can also be used as a nice folder to hold other handouts or applications for enrollment. The target audience for the brochure were parents for kids or adults who would like to be part of the athletics program.
For all the brochures, we were inspired by the curving graphics used on the national Special Olympics website and felt that the local programs should have a similar, cohesive look. The graphical curves add movement to the brochures and go with the them of sports. We incorporated a QR code on the back so the viewer could get quick information if needed.
*Note: For two of the images we used photos from the national website, and they would need to get permission before using them. Though the photos are easily replaceable.
