Shortly after the completion of UVU's new Parent Handbook, my office was asked to create a Spanish language version as well. I was given the assignment to take what had been created for the English version and work with a translator and another representative to create the new version of the handbook.

With the translation, a handful of new photographs and other requested changes, I went to work on making the new version. The challenge was the Spanish text being much much longer than the English, so many of the layouts had to be altered greatly and pages needed to be added. Despite all the changes however, the new version of the handbook maintained the look and feel which had been created originally, and it satisfied the additional needs of the client. Read Less
