Sulunger Lake outside Dalyan Turkey as I saw it on an early morning walk from my village on the mountain in Gokbel overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
The road from Gokbel down through the forest above Sulunger Lake. Never saw a car on this road and the smell of the pine trees was intense. This place (Gokbel near Dalyan, Turkey) is paradise.
A small store run by a Turkish villager named Serife at the bottom of the road down the mountain. It was at the junction of the mountain road up to Gokbel and the road to Iztuzu Beach and always had delightfully cold Efes Beers in the cooler.
