Jacqueline Nathaly (aka. Sora) is currently one of Brazil's finest cosplayers and Yamato Cosplay World's current champion. She is occasionaly contacted by some important franchises like Square-Enix to cosplay their characters and complained that all of them asked her for contact cards which she had none. I was then called to make her visual identity that could be used on her card, alongside her pictures, professional page and so on:

The word "Sora" is the japanese for "Sky". From that I would take the main elements of the logo. She asked for something playful and RPG-ish, and from that I developed a custom rounded font with winged elements on some letters and ethereal glows on the back. The Crystals are a personal request from her and I made them reinforcing the RPG air of the logo. Kerning is the key here to give the logo the playful and custom look.

The logo has a light background version which swaps the white elements with blue ones to make them contrast with white. The crystal is reflected from its middle and uses a 30% transparency to match the white behind.

The business cards needed to show a picture of her as a reference for her contacts , so I minimized the information on the back as much as I could.

Before printing I also added a light 30% varnish mask over the logo, randomly placed in the front  and over the letters on the back. The effect on light looks simply awesome and totally Game-ish.
