For my class project, I was the read the assigned play, Sophocle's "Electra" and create my own artistic piece that resembled my visual interperetation of how the play should be presented on stage using, symbolisms, color, and emotional inspiration. Here, I showed Electra in the form of a scourned woman, who's worries are conected to death (the binded mummy figure), ghosts ( the blue demonic figures), greed ( the bugle of jewels and riches), and vengeance (the burning flames). I made it out of sculpting foam, tissue paper, paint, and pipe cleaner.
