Sonho & Sonhos

  • Sonho & Sonhos
    REBRANDING PROJECT
  • Sonho & Sonhos is a very traditional brand from Southern Brazil, selling home-made Brazilian "Sonhos" (that stands literally for dreams) since 70's.

In the last 10 years the brand has experienced their worst period in the market, with the introduction of the international franchising systems. Sonho & Sonhos was completely overlapped, almost forgotten by the middle-upper class. Such decadence led the partners to a decision: to sell their braind to a group of investors that could oversee the brand for the next following years. The first step would be a definite rebranding to overhaul the company's image, followed by a fan of new services, mainly offering both cold and hot food and drinks, staying open until late in strategic points and offering delivery system for free.

The goal was to make the product talk directly with the consumers in a laidback way, expressing through simple vocabulary the joy and delightful moment of eating the 'Sonho', or even both hot and chilled love-crafted food wherever the product is, onsite or home-delivered.

  • Above: The letters were built in a semi-modular system (all letters are modular except for the S).

  • Above: The bitten 'O' represents the home-made Brazilian 'Sonho'

  • Above: The cup reads "Dreams hot or chilled, just dream" — an allusion to the home-made Brazilian donut "Sonho".
The cup serves both ice-cold and hot drinks.
  • Above: This is the go-home package. It reads "can I go together?"

  • Above: When the consumer opens the box, it reads "finally, lonely".
