Somewhere In Between

Description
The following posters are part of my deliverables for a project, during my MA program. The objective of this project was the phrase "somewhere in between" and how it can be introduced to public through visual communication.
To achieve this goal, I focused on the emotions and thoughts that arise from this phrase. These emotions refer to an uncertain situation that a person may experience in present or in general through the course of his life. Thus, I chose to find words and phrases with the same or similar meaning as the original one, that reflects uncertainty and doubt.
Finally, I chose to create a series of posters which main element is typography. I sought to express the "intermediate" state, not only through color and composition of the posters, but also through the meaning of the phrase which is written on each poster.
The phrase "read in-between the lines", inspired me to use typography in this project . According to this metaphorical phrase, there is a hidden meaning behind phrases. As a result an intermediate and uncertain state often occurs. Also the fact that this phrase is a direct reference to the acts of reading and writing, motivated me to use typography as a tool for the expression of emotions.
