The Caramel Theory, Dubai
Something Fishy About Arabic
The Caramel Theory is a Dubai based creative outfit that produces & markets alternative education for children. Its newest product - Something Fishy About Arabic, needed an engaging design language to teach Arabic in a fun and an interactive way.
Its visual style was created from child like imagination; where each element played a delightful part to stimulate and actively engage the learner.
The logo couldn’t help but be a fishy peek-a-boo unit - flexible, adaptive, fun and playful.
Sniglet, used to create the logo extended as the display font to enhance the kiddie-podgy-fun-and
distinctive flavor. The surprises, movements make each page delight the child inside us.
- AG Buch Rounded BQ compliments and balances as the text font.
- COLOUR PALETTE
Rainbow colors to make all things bright and beautiful.
- CHARACTER SETS
The game comprises of 6 sets of 27 characters each that need to be fished to match the Arabic alphabet and numerical to its sound, name, picture and meaning. Each set and its characters are given a charming identity mixing humor and meaning, compelling a child to discover and learn.
The Picture character set of Animals and objects are wildly imaginative, each a storyteller made indulgent and interactive. You can see them moving and telling stories. The best part is that I had to widly imagine like a child.
- ARABIC TYPEFACE
