Someone Else in the Evening
(Indie Film Poster)
I designed this poster for a film made by Edgar Muniz. I used stills from the film and Photoshop to create a 60's-inspired design. I've read that the halftone pattern look is played out, at least in its most basic form, but I really like it. What can I say? I went for a simple cut-and-paste look. This design was intended for use as the main poster to be printed and displayed around Santa Monica for the film's screening in the Los Angeles International Film Festival, 2010 (though I believe the "screening invite" featured at the bottom of this project was used).

A dvd of this movie is now available on Amazon, but its cover features an altered version of the poster I designed and is no longer of my making.
This last piece was designed for the screening invites. I like the look of the Vampire Weekend album covers, so I went for something along those lines. Somehow I wound up somewhere else, but it worked for Edgar.
