A sampling of some design bits & pieces I've worked on
- These are just some samples; and again I'll add to this project, of some design pieces I've done.
Some are from personal projects, some are for clients and some for my employer The Glenbow Museum, in Calgary, Canada.
We'll start off with two or three and then keep going.
First up is the cover image for a T-shirt design.
Keep Calm and Keep your Arms
Keep Calm, it’s not wise to upset a Wookie. Why you ask? Well they’ve been known to pull arms out of sockets when they get upset, that’s all.
Oxfam's Grow hosted a T-shirt/logo challenge via Redbubble.com
GROW is about 1 billion people who go to bed hungry each night, it’s about food: food production and distribution and food insecurity. GROW strives for equality, sustainability and a re-imagining of the food system – to one where we can grow, eat, and live in a better way.
This is the mantra of Grow and the challenge was to come up with a t-shirt for this campaign, here is my entry.
- Flash Banner ads word-marks
These are some screen caps of animated flash banners I did for the museum where they needed a word-mark for the event.
- Force Beats Phaser
Another T-Shirt this one selling a little better than its sister Tee "Phaser Beats Force". I'm not going to weigh inon what that means though for the two heavy weight franchises!
- Phaser Beats Force
The sister shirt for the one mentioned above.
This one came to me after watching the Bond "Skyfall" trailer on the site 007.com when it came out.
I love Bond, I love Star Wars, 'twas an easy marriage.
- Live Long and Prosper (Like)
This is the “Like” button on Vulcan, they don’t have emotions of course, so “Like” is illogical. But they will wish one to Live Long & Prosper.
