I began fooling around with hand cut screens using Ulano's Sta-Sharp knife cut film because after dabbling in photo emulsion I wanted to get back to the roots of screen printing, plus I was strapped for cash.

I drew inspiration for this print from a quote by Henry David Thoreau from his book "Walden."
