My sketchbook I created for The Sketchbook Project 2011 Tour. Each sketchbook was given a theme, mine was Secret Codes.
This project I wanted to draw things that have deeply inspired or affected me personally, hence the title, "Sending a Signal From Me To You." I wanted to show the viewers secrets by images open to interpretation. Whether it be my fascination for dripping, melting things, sharp teeth, blood, violence, video games, underground fashion, cult films, subversive quotes, etc. Here are a few of my favorite things I wanted to share with you.
Media used were: pencils, Copic, Chartpak, and Tria markers, nail polish, gel pens, and acrylic paint. I had a lot of fun working on this project.
