For Dr. Verlyn Flieger's The Arthur Story at Mythgard Institute, Summer of 2012 - I really wanted to capture the ethereal qualities of the Green Knight's dwelling place, making his throne the entangled roots of a tree.I used graphite on Strathmore 500 Semi-Smooth for the line art, scanned and colorized using Photoshop and then printed back out on Strathmore 500 Plate Bristol for the Copic Marker rendering for value. Final step was to scan back in and color with Photoshop.
