I've wanted to create a collection of drawed portraits for a while, I choose to make this collection about some of my favourite female comedians, for no particular reason other than spending time drawing people that make me laugh.

I started working on two Sarah Silverman portraits, for this collection I'll be experimenting different drawing techinques and materials.

For the first portrait I drew over a MDF Board, used an airbrush for the background and basic face volumes, and drew with graphite the rest of the face. For the final details I scratched a few highlights.

The second portrait was scratched over an MDF Board that I previously prepared with gesso and black acrilyc painting.
