This series of posters was designed as a keepsake for photographer Todd Hido's Excerpts from Silver Meadows exhibition at the Transformer Station in Cleveland, Ohio. The typography is inspired by Todd’s fascination with lobby cards for pulp films of the 1950s.
Excerpts from Silver Meadows has been described as “cinematic in scope; a darkly dramatic glimpse into a world that reflects both the alienation and dislocation in contemporary society and the inspiration of noir film and literature.”
I also designed the Excerpts from Silver Meadows monograph for Todd and Nazraeli Press.
