Our fall wedding featured our silhouettes -- they adorned everything from invitations to menus to programs. Most pieces featured the bride and groom combination that were instantly recognizable to family and friends.
While silhouettes are more traditional, I applied them in a new way to make the whole suite classy and fun. The tri-fold invitation was printed on iridescent paper with black and bronze metallic inks. The invitation included both ceremony and reception information in one piece, while directions, RSVP, and accommodations were tucked behind it. Each table number used a different wedding party member silhouette. Instead of just a list of the wedding party in the program, each name was accompanied by his or her silhouette. Finally, the sides of the church were indicated by the bride and groom's individual silhouette.
The invitation was "A Knot Pick!"
