University of Portsmouth Final Project
Signifier was a self elected brief for my final major project at the University of Portsmouth. The whole point of the project was to get back to the basics of design. This is because I feel there is too much focus on the aesthetic of the design and not on the core elements. The magazine aims to summarise all the key areas I feel are crucial in design. Thus a user could read about semiotics and understand the underlying principles, so when they next create a design they would think about whats important. The final resolution was printed on GF Smith - Strathmore Writing Wove Recycled Natrual White 90gsm.
