Signage for the oldest public garage house in the center of Ljubljana, Slovenia. The task was to deliver a wayfinding system which is easy to use and to create more pleasant, friendly public space. The garage interior was pretty degraded due to the long and heavy usage, so it needed a wide-range renovation. Because of the budget-limits, we had to find an inexpensive, but effective solution. The idea was to “neutralize” the vast interior with a light gray, so we could “highlight” the complex poles system in the variations of bright yellow colors (making a stunning visual effect). The direction-signs were divided into two user-groups - for pedestrians and the vehicles, some of them using LED diodes for a better visibility.
