Shotokan Ryu Kase Ha

  • Poster made for a Traditional Karate Do Technical Seminar from the Shotokan Ryu Kase Ha Association. It included several traditional elements such as the "Gi" ideogram and the Shotokan Ryu symbol (the tiger). The idea from the spokesman was to make something a bit different than the pasts posters, defying what the oldest masters could say about it, he went for an illustrated tiger in one of their master's (Taiji Kase) guard poses.

    It was a bit hard to convey all the traditional content and the look & feel, specially without insulting their masters.
