Cork is an incredibly versatile natural material. Its cellular structure, comprised of millions of air pockets, essentially acts as an “air cushion”, absorbing vibrations and resisting abrasion, while maintaining its natural beauty. This product is manufactured using existing technology for die cutting engine gaskets out of cork sheets.
Made of 4mm lamination of recycled cork sheets, this packaging is a sustainable alternative to the generic shoe box and part of the movement to change the industrial and cultural habits that are not in harmony with the natural flow of our planet. The sustainability of production and the ease of recycling cork products and by-products makes it an ideal candidate for luxury packaging.
