Shinola is a startup company that stemmed from the Fossil brand. They came to College for Creative Studies’ Graphic Design Department in 2012 to assign us to create a full branding identity system for them. This branding system included: print, website, store concept, mobile app, brand promise, brand standards, & brand marketing.
My team consisted of five designers which were: Alicia Cox, Meg Jannott, Matt Finney, Annalise Smith, & Anthony Malec. Our team won first place. We looked at lots of unique printing techniques that we could use throughout our system; we also focused on the consumers as much as the brand itself.
I specifically worked on different VIS ID mockups and visuals, as well as putting together the final presentations and guideline book. Everyone in the team helped bring the essence, goals, objectives, & promises to life. Read Less
