The SHELLN is an outdoor wash basin for the public. It should display, that hand washing is an experience. It provides users the opportunity to freshen up from a long hot day. The basin and the faucet have an organic,

sweeping shape, inviting you to approach. To use the wash basin, just press the faucet down. Then the water flows down the curved form and the visitor can, if he or she wants to, also refresh or massage his/her feet on the round stones which are set into the ground. If the flow has to stop, you just should push the faucet again.

The shape model consists of Styrofoam. For further refining of the shape, it was plastered in some places. The finished basin would likely consist of stone.
